We have used the services of Bourne 2 Dig for the last 2 years with various projects in our garden and we have been really impressed with the work that they have carried out. They are a professional but friendly team and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have had tonnes of earth dug out and retaining walls built, as well as 2 beautiful stone walls and grass pavers and a patio laid.

WDavid Bourne, the owner, is very approachable and fulfilled all the requirements which we asked of him and to a very high standard. The costs have always been reasonable and competitive compared to other quotes we have received. We have booked David and his team for future work and have also highly recommended his work to our friends.

David came during a very difficult summer to do a major garden landscaping job, and not only was his workmanship second to none but his professional attitude and flexibility stood out at all times and in all situations, when difficulties were found he found solutions that were both cost effective and I’m keeping with our original concept for the garden and grounds. His ability to use the machines he has at his disposal is fantastic to watch, I could not believe what he could do in a few hours what I would have taken weeks to do with a pick and shovel, Bourne 2 dig actually saved me a fortune if you factor in the time it would take to do yourself. At first I thought that the retaining wall would be built by a sub contractor, so I was amazed to know that David does all the block work and stonework himself!! The wall had a beautiful curve that David recommended and my wife and myself couldn’t be happier, every stage of the project he checked off with us leaving us with no surprises or things that we did not want ! Bourne 2 dig were courteous contractors and were happily chatting to my neighbours (who in the end used him for some work on their front wall) they kept the work site both safe and clean, respecting areas that were complete with no muddy boots or trampled flowers (made the wife happy). When it came to paying our bill there was only one thing we were thinking and that’s “value” David and his firm price their jobs fairly, and when work was complete we were over the moon that we had completed within budget with no hidden costs or things we weren’t expecting. David has built his business on the strength of customer recommendations, we were given his details by another happy customer and consequently we have recommended him dozens of times. All we would say is give them a call and get a quote, you won’t be sorry you did. A+++
